AbilityOne OIG created the Office of Evaluations in January 2023. The Office designs and implements long-term nationwide evaluations that assess the strengths and weaknesses of programs, policies, personnel, products, etc. to improve economy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Commission. The Office also participates in multi-agency projects to address government-wide management issues. Consistent with the IG Act, the results and recommendations from these evaluations can be used to improve Commission operations, identify decencies, sustain best practices, and facilitate accomplishment of Commission goals.
The Office will conform to Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation, also known as Blue Book standards.
